Hi, I'm Maddie Harris! I'm a marketing major in the College of Business at James Madison University. I have a concentration in Digital Marketing and a minor in Honors Studies. Keep scrolling to find out some more personal things about me!
Where am I from?
I'm from Waynesboro, Virginia! If you haven't heard of this small town, it's located in the Shenandoah Valley. I'm hoping to stay in the Valley after graduation, so I'm primarily searching for marketing opportunities in Harrisonburg and Charlottesville.

Why marketing?
When I came into JMU, I was an Undeclared major. I was considering psychology, SMAD, or Business Management. While taking a class for Undeclared majors to make their choice, I kept getting marketing time after time on personality career tests. When I had an assignment to interview a professor that taught classes in a possible major, she said something that really stuck out to me. She said marketing is full of possibilities, and it is the perfect combination of business, psychology, and creativity. She also emphasized that you're guaranteed to be a lifelong learner if you work in marketing. She had perfectly described what I was looking for - how could I have picked anything else at that point?

What are my hobbies?
One of my biggest passions is traveling. I've always longed to see as much of the world as possible. At only 22 years old, I've experienced more than I ever thought I would.
